3084-HRH Mopar 1970-74 E-Body Hood Hinge (without Spring) - Passenger Side
New reproduction steel hood hinge without the tension spring. This hood hinge is a reproduction of the 1971-72 style which uses the interlocking teeth design. The 1971-72 style also had a wider top strap than the 1970 hinge.
The 1973-74 style changed from using the interlocking teeth design to a pivot pin (think knee bending action).
The 1970 hood hinge used 5/16" bolts while 1971-74 used 3/8" bolts to retain to the hood.
This hood hinge can be used on 1970-74 E-Body models without any issue, but please be aware of the minor differences between the 3 different style hinges that were available between 1970-74.
